Services on Southeastern Railway have resumed following an earlier incident at Highbrooms involving a bridge strike.
An incident at Highbrooms on the Southeastern Railway network has now been resolved, and trains are returning to normal operations. The bridge strike caused temporary disruptions to train services affecting Kent residents and commuters travelling through the area.
The incident occurred at Highbrooms, a key junction on Southeastern Railway’s network. Services were suspended whilst the situation was assessed and cleared by Network Rail engineers and Southeastern Railway staff.
Trains are now back on the move and running across the affected routes. However, some services may still be experiencing minor delays as the network returns to full capacity following the incident. Passengers are advised to check their journey times as services normalise throughout the afternoon.
