Warden Road in Eastchurch will be closed overnight from 30 March to 1 April for essential resurfacing works by Kent County Council.
Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Warden Road, Eastchurch from 30 March 2026, with estimated completion by 1 April 2026. The resurfacing works will take place between 19:00 and 05:00 each night, minimising disruption during daytime hours.
The closure affects the vicinity of Rosemead, as indicated by signs and barriers on site. Whilst there is no alternative route available for through traffic, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead if they need to travel through the area during the evening and early morning hours. The overnight closure window means most daytime traffic should not be significantly affected, though residents in the vicinity should be aware of potential disruption between 19:00 and 05:00.
