Mongeham Road in Great Mongeham will be closed from 30th March to 6th April for Coinford Ltd connection works.
Kent County Council has arranged for Mongeham Road in Great Mongeham to be temporarily closed to allow Coinford Ltd to carry out connection works. The closure will commence on 30th March 2026 and is expected to continue through to 6th April 2026.
The road will be closed outside number 162, Mongeham Road, CT14 9LR, with the extent of the closure indicated by signs and barriers on site. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works wherever it is safe to do so.
Residents and through traffic are advised to use alternative routes during this period. The suggested alternative route includes Northbourne Road, Willow Road, Willow Woods Road, Boys Hill, the A256 Whitfield By-pass, A256 Eastry Bypass, A256 Sandwich Road, and the A258 Deal Road.
Drivers are requested to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time for their travel. The works are weather dependent and could be completed earlier than the stated end date if conditions permit.
