A temporary 30 mph speed restriction and traffic signals will be in place on Sheppey Way in Iwade on 26 March for essential road lining works.
Kent Highways will implement temporary traffic management measures on Sheppey Way in Iwade on Wednesday, 26 March to carry out planned road lining works. The temporary 30 mph speed restriction will be in effect throughout the day, with temporary traffic signals controlling traffic flow to ensure the safety of both road workers and motorists.
The works are scheduled for a single day only, and residents should expect some minor delays whilst the lining works are completed. Sheppey Way will remain open to traffic, but drivers should be prepared to encounter temporary traffic signals and reduce their speed to 30 mph.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys on 26 March if travelling through Iwade on Sheppey Way. If possible, consider using alternative routes during the working hours. The temporary measures will be removed once the works are complete.
