Kent Police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may hold important information after a reported assault at a Sainsbury’s store in Chatham on 27 June 2026.
A man in his 40s reportedly told police he was grabbed by the neck by an unknown man inside the Sainsbury’s on Watling Street, Chatham, at around 10am on Saturday 27 June 2026. The suspect is then alleged to have tried to drag the victim out of the store before leaving, according to Kent Police.
Kent Police have now released a CCTV image as part of their ongoing enquiries. Officers say the man pictured may have important information about the incident.
The investigation is still active.
