Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a man was reportedly punched three times in the face following a road incident on Lower Rochester Road in the early hours of 9 September 2026.
A driver needed hospital treatment after he was allegedly assaulted near the junction of Lower Rochester Road and Hasted Road in Wainscott at around 4.10am on Wednesday 9 September 2026. He had been discharged by the time Kent Police published their appeal on 22 September.
The victim told police a white van cut in front of his black Ford Fiesta on Lower Rochester Road, forcing him onto a kerb. He climbed out to check for damage — at which point the van driver allegedly punched him three times in the face.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, large build, curly hair, believed to have been wearing blue shorts and a blue top.
