Missing Canterbury man found safe after police appeal

Kent Police have confirmed that Gordan Seales, 51, reported missing from Canterbury on 10 July 2026, has been safely located following a public appeal for information.

Kent Police announced via social media that Gordan Seales, 51, reported missing from Canterbury on Friday 10 July 2026, had been found safe. The force thanked members of the public who assisted with the search.

Seales was last seen in the A257 Littlebourne Road area of Canterbury at around 1.20pm on 10 July. He was described as white, around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, black jogging bottoms, a khaki jacket and black trainers. Police noted he had known links to Sussex, Surrey and London. Appeals during the search asked anyone with information to call 999 quoting reference 10-1343, or to contact Kent Police via 101 or live chat.

The case was treated as a welfare concern. No injuries or criminal offences have been publicly reported in connection with the incident, and there is no verified information indicating any criminal investigation linked to his disappearance.
