Teenager seriously hurt in electric motorcycle crash on Sevenoaks High Street

An 18-year-old rider was taken to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision on Sevenoaks High Street near Six Bells Lane at around 9.18pm on Monday 7 September 2026, according to Kent Police, who are appealing for witnesses and footage.

The rider of a black Sur-Ron electric motorcycle is now in a serious but stable condition, Kent Police said. Officers are asking anyone who was in the area between 9pm and 9.20pm that evening to come forward.

The crash happened near the junction with Six Bells Lane, and officers want to piece together where the motorcycle was in the moments before the collision. Anyone with a dashcam, doorbell camera or CCTV that may have captured the motorcycle before or after the collision is asked to review their footage and contact police.
