Two men have been arrested following a serious assault in Brenchley Gardens in which a victim was taken to a London hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds.
Kent Police were called to Brenchley Gardens, Maidstone, at 5.20pm on Wednesday 22 July 2026 after reports of a serious assault. Paramedics took a man to a London hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He has since been discharged.
A 29-year-old was arrested on 23 July in connection with the incident and bailed pending further enquiries. Then, on 24 July, a second man — aged 22 — was also taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone who saw what happened in the gardens that Wednesday evening, or who has relevant information, is asked to get in touch.
