Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after entry was reportedly forced into an agricultural barn in Penn Lane and two named dogs were taken.
Two dogs were reportedly stolen from a barn in Ide Hill, near Sevenoaks, sometime between 8.30pm and midnight on Tuesday 11 August 2026. According to a report received by Kent Police, someone forced their way into an agricultural barn in Penn Lane and took Nelly — a liver and white springer spaniel — and Betty, a black cocker spaniel.
Kent Police published an appeal asking anyone in the area during that window to come forward. Officers want to hear from people who spotted suspicious activity or vehicles, and they were particularly keen to get hold of CCTV and dashcam footage from nearby.
