Car fire tackled on A2 coastbound near Dartford

Two fire engines were sent to a car alight on the A2 coastbound near Dartford on 18 February 2026, with no injuries reported.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a vehicle fire on the A2 near Dartford at 08:23 on 18 February 2026.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using compressed air foam and hose reel jets. No injuries were reported.
