Kent Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after a man in his 30s was allegedly assaulted at The Cuban bar on Canterbury High Street in the early hours of 16 July 2026.
Officers were called shortly before 2.30am on Thursday 16 July after reports of an assault at The Cuban on Canterbury High Street. According to Kent Police, it is reported that the victim — a man in his 30s — was assaulted by a person unknown to him. He was taken to a local hospital with a head injury and was later discharged.
Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify. He has not been named as a suspect. Detectives believe he may be able to assist with the ongoing investigation, having already spoken to witnesses and reviewed CCTV footage before making the appeal.
Anyone who recognises the man in the image, or who has mobile phone footage from the venue that night, is asked to get in touch.
