Manh Hung Le, 45, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison at Maidstone Crown Court after being convicted of sexual activity with a child and causing a child to watch a sexual act.
Le, of Grove Street, Deptford, London, was convicted on both counts following a trial at Maidstone Crown Court and sentenced on 21 July 2026. He had denied the allegations throughout. On top of the custodial term, the court imposed a 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order on Le and placed him on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
According to Kent Police, an investigation was launched after the victim disclosed that, some years earlier, they had been made to watch pornography and perform an indecent act. Le was arrested in April 2023 and subsequently charged.
Detective Constable Ella Bootes, the investigating officer, said: “Le’s actions have caused significant and lasting trauma for his vulnerable victim, who we commend for their bravery in coming forward. Le did not show any remorse for his actions and, by reporting his abuse, the victim has enabled us to secure his imprisonment and safeguard other children who may have been at risk.”
