GB Freedom Party will hold its first public meeting on Wednesday 3 June at St. Mary’s Island Community Centre, Chatham, the party has confirmed.

The event, scheduled for 19:00 to 21:00, will set out the party’s full policy programme for Kent and is open to all Kent and Medway residents, regardless of political background.

About GB Freedom Party

Registered with the Electoral Commission in 2025 (registration PP18062), GB Freedom Party describes itself as a Kent-rooted, member-led party with its registered office in Strood. The party operates under a constitution that requires members — not a national party headquarters — to select candidates, and that does not whip elected representatives on conscience votes.

The party was founded in 2025 by Kent-based wealth manager Daniel Dabin. It runs a paid membership tier under the Paid Memberships Pro framework and publishes its full policy programme on its website at gbfreedomparty.co.uk.

What the meeting will cover

The 3 June meeting is expected to cover the party’s plan for the next 12 months, including its candidate-selection process for upcoming council elections, alongside a walk-through of the party’s policy programme on water, housing, energy and policing.

An open Q&A session is scheduled at the end of the evening.

In a statement supplied ahead of the meeting, founder Daniel Dabin said: “This is the first time we’re laying out the full programme for Kent in one room, in front of anyone who wants to hear it and challenge it. The point of a Kent party is that decisions get made here, by people who actually live here. We want as many Kent residents in the room as possible — members or not.”

How to attend

Admission is free, but the party says seating is limited and is asking attendees to register a place in advance via Eventbrite. The registration form includes an optional field for access needs.
