Kent Police appeal for help finding missing 89-year-old man in Birchington

Patrick Iddenden was last seen leaving Court Mount Caravan Park and walking along Park Avenue at 10.20am on 11 August 2026, and did not arrive for a planned meeting with family in Herne Bay.

Kent Police are appealing for information to help locate Patrick Iddenden, an 89-year-old man missing from Birchington. He was last seen leaving Court Mount Caravan Park and walking along Park Avenue at 10.20am on Tuesday 11 August 2026. He had been due to travel by bus to meet family in Herne Bay but did not arrive.

Police said they were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Mr Iddenden is described as slim, with grey hair. He was wearing cream or khaki trousers and a blue shirt when last seen, and may be using a walking stick.
