A woman in her 40s was found unresponsive on a footpath in Manston Road on 31 July 2026 and later died in hospital, with her death being treated as unexplained.
A woman in her 40s was found unresponsive on a footpath in Manston Road, Ramsgate, shortly after 1pm on Friday 31 July 2026. Officers and paramedics attended the scene near the junction with Princess Margaret Avenue. She was taken to hospital, where she later died. Her next of kin has been informed.
The death is being treated as unexplained. Officers do not believe there was any third party involvement, though enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances, including how the woman came to be in the area.
Investigators have already spoken with witnesses, consulted medical experts and reviewed CCTV from the area. They are still urging anyone who saw the woman at around the time of the incident, or prior to it, and who has not yet spoken to police, to come forward.
Dashcam footage from the area is also being sought.
