A subscription service called Keep Me Posted lets Kent residents sign up for topic-based local updates by email, with their data processed by Granicus/GovDelivery on behalf of the council, under contractual data protection safeguards, and is not used for independent third-party purposes.
Kent residents can sign up for local news and updates by email through a service called Keep Me Posted, which runs on the Granicus platform. All you need is a name and email address. From there, you pick the topics you actually want to hear about — nothing more lands in your inbox.
Your email address is held solely to run the system. Your data is processed by Granicus/GovDelivery on behalf of the council, under contractual data protection safeguards, and is not used for independent third-party purposes. It is retained for the purposes of administering the system until you choose to unsubscribe.
Subscribers can add, drop or swap topics at any time after registering.
Full details of how personal data is handled are set out in a privacy notice linked at the bottom of the registration page.
