Maidstone Borough Council is hosting a business finance and funding event on Tuesday 17 November 2026, 10am to 12.30pm, at The Business Terrace in the town centre. It’s free. Open to anyone looking to start or grow a business — and given the current climate, that’s not a small audience.
Turn up and you can talk directly with banks and lenders, finance and funding specialists, accountants, investment providers and local business support organisations. Drop-in format, so no need to arrive at a fixed time. Any point in that two-and-a-half-hour window will do.
But spaces are limited, so you’ll need to book in advance. The Business Terrace is easy enough to find — opposite the King Street surface-level car park, next to the bus station and The Mall. Five minutes on foot from Maidstone East station, around 10 from Maidstone West.
