Smoke warning issued for residents near Uplees Road, Faversham

Kent Fire and Rescue Service has advised people living near Uplees Road in Faversham to close windows and doors because of smoke from a barn and field fire.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service posted the warning on social media. The service made no reference to casualties or a confirmed cause.

The service asked the public to share the advice with anyone nearby who does not have internet access.

No incident number, appliance count or further operational detail was included in the post.
