Sunday 360 bus returns to Isle of Sheppey for summer trial

Operator Chalkwell is running the Sheerness to Leysdown route every Sunday from 20 July to 7 September after the service was axed in February 2023.

The 360 is back. After more than two years without a Sunday service, islanders who don’t drive have a public transport link between the east end of Sheppey and Sheerness on the one day of the week when there wasn’t one. Eight weeks, with single fares capped at £3.

The trial runs every Sunday from 20 July to 7 September. The route takes in Marine Parade, The Broadway, Eastchurch and Warden Bay before reaching Leysdown.

The Sunday 360 service was axed in February 2023. The current trial is intended to encourage visitors onto public transport and help locals get to summer jobs or make the most of days out on the island, according to KCC.
