Kent Police seized a Planet X Tempest bicycle from an address in Yeoman Gardens on 25 August 2026 and bailed two suspects after the bike was reported stolen from Eureka Park nearly four weeks earlier.
Kent Police arrested two people on Tuesday 25 August 2026 after tracing a stolen bicycle to an address in Yeoman Gardens, Ashford. A 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody and bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
The bike — a Planet X Tempest — had been reported stolen on Friday 31 July 2026, allegedly taken overnight from the rear of a parked car on Rutherford Road in Eureka Park. It was reported that a lock had been cut. Neighbourhood officers were made aware of a bicycle matching the description of the stolen item, which had been listed for sale online, and further enquiries led them to an address in Yeoman Gardens.
The bike was seized and is being returned to its owner.
