Cameron Neal, 23, was arrested, charged with five offences and appeared before magistrates within 48 hours after Kent Police seized cocaine, cannabis, cash and suspected dealing equipment.
Officers on patrol in Canterbury spotted a vehicle of interest on Tuesday 25 August 2026 and signalled it to stop. The driver allegedly failed to comply and made off from officers.
The following morning, police attended an address and arrested Cameron Neal, 23, of Meteor Avenue, Whitstable. According to police, officers also seized what are alleged to be scales, small bags, multiple mobile phones, £1,740 in cash, and quantities of both cocaine and cannabis.
According to court records, Neal was charged overnight with five offences — including failing to stop and possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply — and remanded in custody. The arrest, charge and first court appearance took place within less than 48 hours of the initial stop attempt.
He appeared before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 27 August 2026, where he was further remanded into custody. Neal is due before Canterbury Crown Court on 28 September 2026. No plea has been entered, and the case has yet to be determined by a court.
