A 19-year-old man ended up in hospital with injuries to his arms and hands after allegedly being pushed through a glass door on Charlotte Street, Broadstairs, at around 10.20pm on Wednesday 1 July 2026, according to Kent Police.
Kent Police say he had been in a verbal altercation with a group of people unknown to him before he was allegedly shoved into the door, which shattered. Officers attended the scene, but the group had already left the area by the time the incident was reported.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment to his arms and hands. Initial enquiries have been completed, including obtaining witness statements and reviewing CCTV footage. The investigation is ongoing and police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to officers to come forward. Anyone with relevant information, including mobile phone footage, is urged to get in touch.
