Podium

Dan Cammish claimed victory in Round 30 of the 2026 British Touring Car Championship at Kent’s Brands Hatch circuit in West Kingsdown on Sunday, 11 October, after officials applied a post-race five-second penalty to the driver who had crossed the line first. Cammish’s NAPA Racing UK team-mate Ashley Sutton completed a one-two for the squad, finishing 0.131 seconds adrift, while Dexter Patterson of Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing rounded out the podium in third, 0.475 seconds behind the winner.
Patterson had started from reverse-grid pole position, but opening-lap chaos at Paddock Hill Bend triggered an early safety car, with the incident forcing the retirements of Tom Chilton and Tom Ingram — the latter taken to hospital for precautionary CT scans. Once racing resumed, Ricky Collard of Team Vertu assumed the lead and resisted sustained pressure from the NAPA Racing UK Fords. Sutton mounted a spirited charge before running off-track at Westfields, dropping him back through the order, though he recovered sufficiently to secure second place. Collard appeared to have taken a maiden BTCC victory, but a five-second penalty for a restart infringement demoted him to eighth in the final classification, elevating Cammish to the race win with a recorded time of 32:29.523.

Aiden Moffat delivered a composed performance to take fourth place for LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing, finishing 1.502 seconds behind Cammish, with Adam Morgan of Cataclean Plato Racing a further 0.266 seconds back in fifth. Josh Cook brought his Speedworks Corolla Racing entry home sixth, 2.096 seconds off the race winner, while Daniel Lloyd of Restart Racing and Ricky Collard of Team Vertu completed the top eight. Gordon Shedden of Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport and Mikey Doble of LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing rounded out the top ten, separated by just 0.153 seconds at the flag.
The result represents a significant gain for Dan Cammish and NAPA Racing UK, with the team securing both first and second place at Brands Hatch to underline their competitiveness at this stage of the season. The one-two finish will be regarded as a considerable boost to the squad’s championship ambitions as the campaign enters its closing stages. Árón Taylor-Smith, Daniel Rowbottom, Lewis Selby, and Nick Halstead were among those classified as non-finishers. Attention now turns to the next round of the 2026 British Touring Car Championship, where Cammish and NAPA Racing UK will look to maintain the momentum gained on home soil in Kent.
