Fatal motorbike crash on Goudhurst Road: Kent Police appeal for witnesses
An 18-year-old motorcyclist died in hospital on 19 July after his Honda CB125 left the road and struck a tree on Goudhurst Road in Horsmonden, near Tunbridge Wells, at about 10pm on 14 July, and Kent Police are now seeking witnesses and dashcam footage.
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the fatal collision, which occurred close to the junction with Brick Kiln Lane. The rider was travelling eastbound when his white Honda CB125 left the carriageway and struck a tree. Paramedics took him to hospital, where he died five days later on Sunday 19 July.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who was driving in the area at around 10pm on 14 July and has dashcam footage, is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit quoting reference XX/JW/056/26.
The precise circumstances of the collision, including speed and road conditions at the time, have not been confirmed publicly and remain under investigation.
