Gillingham man charged with heroin supply offences after dawn raid in Twydall

Marcus Campbell, 47, of Goudhurst Road, Gillingham, was remanded in custody after Kent Police and British Transport Police seized suspected heroin, cash and drug paraphernalia during a 6.30am search warrant on 1 July 2026.

A Gillingham man has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, being concerned in the supply of heroin, and possession of criminal property, after a joint dawn raid by Kent Police and British Transport Police. Marcus Campbell, 47, of Goudhurst Road, Gillingham, appeared before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 2 July 2026. He was remanded in custody.

Officers attended an address in Twydall at around 6.30am on 1 July 2026, seizing suspected heroin, a quantity of cash, drug paraphernalia and a mobile phone. Campbell was arrested following enquiries and subsequently charged. He is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 31 July 2026.

According to Kent Police, the operation formed part of ongoing efforts to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs in Medway. No plea has been entered. The case has not yet been heard at Crown Court level.
