A woman in her 40s was struck with an unknown object and had two bank cards stolen at the junction of Canterbury Road and Harville Road in Wye, near Ashford, at around 11.45pm on Monday 14 September 2026.
A woman pulled over in her orange MG4 EV at the junction of Canterbury Road and Harville Road when a man she didn’t recognise is reported to have attacked her with an unknown object, then drove off in a Ford Fiesta. She later found two bank cards missing.
According to Kent Police, the victim suffered minor injuries that were treated at a local hospital. Officers are now appealing for witnesses and want to hear from anyone who was near that junction just before midnight.
Police are keen to hear from anyone driving in the area with dashcam footage, as well as residents with private CCTV covering the junction or nearby roads. If you were driving along Canterbury Road or Harville Road at around 11.45pm that night, it is worth checking what your camera picked up. Someone may have captured something without realising it.
