Two teenage boys on a motorbike allegedly tried to snatch a man’s mobile phone in Swift Avenue, Finberry, on the evening of 26 July 2026, before leaving empty-handed.
Kent Police want help identifying two people caught on CCTV after an attempted robbery in Finberry, Ashford. Shortly after 8.30pm on Sunday 26 July, a man in his 40s was approached by two teenage boys on a motorbike in Swift Avenue. It is alleged they struck his arm in an attempt to grab his mobile phone, before leaving empty-handed.
The victim was uninjured, and the force has released a CCTV image of the pair. Chief Inspector Jennifer Bassan acknowledged the image is blurred and that both riders had their faces covered, but said officers are hoping someone might recognise the clothing or the motorbike itself.
Enquiries are ongoing.
