Man charged with murder after fatal stabbing in Maidstone

Bradley Patton, 26, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a man in his 40s who was found with stab wounds at a property in Knightrider Street, Maidstone, on 7 September 2026, according to Kent Police.

Officers were called at 10.21pm on Monday 7 September 2026 to reports of an assault at a property in Knightrider Street, Maidstone, Kent Police said. A man in his 40s was found inside the property with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He sadly died whilst being treated by paramedics at the scene, according to Kent Police. His next of kin has been informed.

On Thursday 10 September, Patton, 26, of Gordon Road, Greater London, was charged with murder, Kent Police said. He was due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 11 September.

A 22-year-old woman who was also arrested in connection with the incident was released from custody on 8 September. Kent Police confirmed she would not face any further investigation.
