Shantel Brooker, 37, of Falcon Way, Ashford, appeared before Folkestone magistrates on 12 September 2026 charged with four theft offences linked to properties in Shadoxhurst, High Halden and Smeeth.

Kent Police charged Brooker on Saturday 12 September 2026 after a report came in two days earlier that cash and valuables had been taken from an address in the Tally Ho Road area of Shadoxhurst. Officers attended, made enquiries, and arrested her the following morning.

Three further charges came alongside the Shadoxhurst offence. Two concern allegations that rings were stolen from a property in High Halden — on 31 July 2026 and on 7 August. The fourth charge relates to a victim in Smeeth, where several items were reportedly taken between 2 July and 11 August 2026.

Brooker appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court later that same Saturday and was bailed with conditions.

She is due back before the same court on 17 November 2026.

None of the charges have been proven. All four alleged offences remain before the judiciary.
