Missing teenager from Meopham found safe after Kent Police appeal

Kent Police have confirmed that a 15-year-old girl reported missing from Meopham on 9 September 2026 has been safely located.

The girl, named in local media as Demi-Leigh Spouse, was last seen at around 11pm in the Wrotham Road area of Meopham, a village in the borough of Gravesham in north-west Kent. Officers had expressed concern for her welfare and asked members of the public to contact them with any information, quoting reference 9-1721.

The original appeal described her as white, close to 5ft 3in tall, with a slim build, long straight blonde hair and blue eyes. Kent Police indicated at the time that she might travel by train towards London.

Kent Police thanked everyone who had assisted with and shared the appeal following confirmation that the teenager had been found safe.
