Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seen stealing from one car and acting suspiciously around two others across three Faversham streets in the early hours of 6 August 2026.
It started on Springhead Road at around 12.15am on Thursday 6 August 2026 — someone reported a man opening a car boot and stealing items. Around 30 minutes later, a man was interrupted as he searched through a resident’s vehicle in Blaxland Close. Then, shortly afterwards, a homeowner in Whiting Crescent reported someone acting suspiciously around her car.
Officers attended and searched the area, but without success.
According to witnesses, the suspect is described as tall and slim, wearing a dark green hooded top and black trousers.
Kent Police want to hear from anyone who hasn’t yet spoken to officers, or who has CCTV or doorbell footage from any of the three streets.
