Adam Morgan claimed victory in Race 1 of the British Touring Car Championship’s Donington Park Grand Prix meeting at Castle Donington on Sunday, 23 August 2026. Morgan converted his pole position into a commanding lights-to-flag win, crossing the line in a time of 31 minutes 06.329 seconds. Árón Taylor-Smith followed in sixth, while Dexter Patterson and Ricky Collard completed a tightly grouped cluster in seventh and eighth, the pair covered by less than three tenths of a second. Tom Ingram rounded out the top nine, with Mikey Doble taking tenth, some six seconds further back.

The result represents a significant moment for Morgan and the CPRL operation, with a lights-to-flag victory from pole position underlining the pace and reliability of the Mercedes A35 Saloon package. That Morgan was able to manage the race’s two safety-car restarts without conceding his advantage to championship leader Ashley Sutton will only add to the significance of the win.
