East Kent heroin and crack cocaine network leaders jailed for over 16 years combined

Leading members of an organised drugs supply network that channelled heroin and crack cocaine into east Kent have received custodial sentences totalling more than 16 years, Kent Police announced.

Kent Police posted details of the sentencing outcome on social media, stating that those jailed held leading roles within what the force described as an extensive network supplying class A drugs into east Kent. The force did not specify the number of individuals sentenced, their individual sentence lengths, or the quantities of drugs involved in the operation.

Heroin and crack cocaine are class A controlled substances under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, which carries the most serious penalties available for supply offences.

The sentencing follows a pattern of enforcement action by Kent Police against drugs supply networks operating in the region. In a separate county lines intensification week carried out in 2025, the force reported disrupting 18 drug supply lines, making 38 arrests, seizing more than £65,000 in cash, and charging 24 suspected offenders with 79 offences. In another operation focused on Dover, five dealers were jailed for a combined total of 20 years after 32 people were charged with 67 drug offences.
